Welcome to Cork City in Ireland! Yesterday, my mother and I had gotten off of a plane, gotten into our rental car, and learned how to drive on the left side of the road all before 8am Ireland time (or as our bodies refused to forget, 3am Eastern time…). When we were finally in Cork (1.5 hour drive), jet-lagged and delirious, we decided to walk around the Cork City and fight the jet-lag and become familiar with the city. A poorly constructed idea that had us both back at the hotel and unconscious by 1pm.

But while we were out, I was able to snap some pretty cool photos of River Lee and the surrounding Cork City! Hopefully, this time next year, I’ll have a better idea on what I have taken pictures of!
